NL Collar is a non-lead compound developed as a replacement product for the traditional lead-based sealants used to cushion drill collar threads. This thread compound protects the larger diameter threads from galling and seizing during make-up and break-out in the most demanding of drilling conditions. NL Collar contains extreme pressure additives as well as corrosion inhibitors to maximize connection life.
Recommended for all tool joints and drill collar threads in medium to heavy duty drilling conditions.
Packaging:
JWW® is a premium quality rotary joint compound blended for use on drill collars and tool joints. The formulation contains additives for extreme pressure control in high torque deep hole drilling conditions. Corrosion inhibitors ensure maximum resistance to pitting and rusting of tubulars while being racked and stored.
JWW® is recommended for all rotary joint connections in moderate to severe drilling conditions.
Packaging:
Green-Seal® II Thermal is recommended for use on all API casing, tubing and premium threaded connections in extreme temperature conditions.
Zincote® is an API formulated thread compound that has been the industry standard for all rotary shouldered connections since the early 1950s. This compound contains a 50% loading of finely powdered zinc and is used on both tool joints and drill collars.
Zincote® has a premium base grease carrier and has both a high temperature service rating as well as providing maximum adhesion of the compound to cold, damp threads.
Zincote® contains corrosion inhibitors to prevent rusting of connections when tubulars are placed in storage conditions.
Zincote® is the recommended compound for any rotary joint tubular including both drill collars and tool joints.
65% Zincote® is an API formulated thread compound that has been the industry standard for all rotary shouldered connections since the early 1950s. This compound contains a 65% loading of finely powdered zinc and is used on both tool joints and drill collars. 65% Zincote® has a premium base grease carrier and has both a high temperature service rating as well as providing maximum adhesion of the compound to cold, damp threads.
65% Zincote® contains corrosion inhibitors to prevent rusting of connections when tubulars are placed in storage conditions.
65% Zincote® is the recommended compound for any rotary joint tubular including both drill collars and tool joints. The high volume of metal is most useful in applications involving invert chemistry where fluids leech out the grease carrier and lead to wash out of the solids in the connections and leaking of the joint.
All-Star is a premium quality rotary joint thread compound that is blended for drill collars in extreme pressure and high torque conditions. The formula contains 60% of finely powdered metallic lead that is used to absorb shock as well as seal the connection under pressure.
All-Star is manufactured according to the specifications of API.
Non-metallic particles are used in the formulation to prevent metal compaction in the shoulder and thread roots. This ensures a clean breakout during tripping cycles.
All rotary shouldered connections used in high torque and deep or long horizontal drilling operations.
Packaging:
Cop-R-Lube® is a versatile thread compound blended for use on rotary shouldered connections. It has extreme pressure additives as well as corrosion inhibitors to ensure that threads are protected during make-up and breakout and has resistance to rusting and galvanic pitting.
Green-Seal® II Thermal is recommended for use on all API casing, tubing and premium threaded connections in extreme temperature conditions.
Cop-R-Lube® is also recommended for the break in of new tool joints and drill collars. During this initial cycle the fine metallic copper plates on the thread surfaces and acts as an anti-seize when the tubulars are being run in a drilling operation. This thread compound is available in both standard and high temperature formulas.
Cop-R-Lube® is the anti-seize suggested for use on any threaded metal parts or fittings prior to assembly or thread engagement. It protects against corrosion, eases disassembly, and minimizes equipment downtime during repair and maintenance.
Any rotary shouldered connections including tool joints and drill collars. It is also the product suggested for small service industries such as automotive and appliance repair business.
RJC® has been formulated as an environmentally acceptable product used by drilling operators on rotary joint tubulars such as tool joints and drill collars. The compound has been used in both Canada as well as the USA in difficult drilling conditions and at depths exceeding 7,500 m or 25,000 feet.
RJC® has extreme pressure additives that cushion the threads against galling and sharpening during breakout. Corrosion inhibitors provide protection from the harsh chemicals used in the drilling fluids and muds as well as preventing pitting caused by exposure to H2S.
All rotary joint connections.
